⚙️ Essentials

✨ Card History

With this update, we are introducing a totally new experience of history of the card. Even the history of the card could be beautiful inside Stack! Simply click the back arrow and drag it.

PDF Reader

Stack didn’t have its own pdf viewer. Therefore, Stackers had to download pdf for accessing it. That is changing now. Read your pdf files inside Stack, and download only if deemed necessary.

⬛️ Video Full-screen

On the full-screen mode Spacebar was not disappearing. With this update that is changing as well. Enjoy watching a real full-screen videos without any distraction.

New Features

Lock the Card

Quite many of you have reported, that when working with two or three apps on the single screen and switching between them actively, oftentimes accidental side-scrolling was an annoying issue. In order to improve your experience with this regard, we have added a new function ? in the card three-dotted menu .

Lock the card, concentrate on the apps currently on the screen, and forget side-scrolling.

Pin Topbar

Top-bar of a card has few important functions in Stack. It shows the name of the card, clicking on which you can see the URL, copy it or open in classical browser. Three-dotted menu gives you additional functions, such as locking the card or muting the notifications. And double-clicking the top-bar, you can set the card on full-screen.

However, after setting card on full-screen the top-bar hides automatically. If you want to maintain access to the top-bar, while working on the full-screen mode, Pin is there for you!

Touch the Space (MAC only)

If your Mac has touchbar, with this update switching spaces is becoming beautiful and easy at the same time.

More Integrated Apps

Last but not least, we have updated the list of integrated apps, adding sections for E-learning and Tech News. These apps, as almost all web-based applications and sites, have been accessible in Stack before as well. But you had to type their URLs or google them and select from the search results. By adding new sections, we are simplifying this process for you, bringing curated high quality content one-step closer.

We have also integrated additional e-mail services: Fastmail, Outlook & Yahoo, and essential apps for founders — Asana, Mixpanel, Intercom and Canny.
